I am walking out of a forest to the edge of a lake that seems to blur in and out of focus. Before me is this strangely shaped tree with reptilian roots and branches teeming with large mangoes. Up on the tips of branches much too delicate to support them are a couple of enormous brightly colored macaws. The macaws seem to be growing larger and larger, dwarfing the tree and defying perspective.
